Witches Crawl Annual Event
The Witches of Silverbrooke come out to play once a year for their annual Witches Crawl. Our witches of whimsy perform during the Halloween season as part of their fundraising effort for a chosen nonprofit agency or community need.
Join us and experience the magic of the Witches Crawl. We welcome all witches and non-witches alike to participate in this fun-filled event. There's an opportunity to join for a witchy line dance.

The History of the Witches Crawl & the Silverbrook Witches
In 2018, Oriental resident Jeanne was visiting Kure Beach, NC and a group of “witches” broke out in dance that originated from a viral, 2016 video from Germany. This dance is now being held in flash mobs and Halloween festivals all over the world!
This gave Jeanne the idea to bring the dance to Oriental, NC as a fundraising event. In 2018 funds were needed by the Oriental Women’s Club (OWC) for upkeep of the Silverbrook Cemetery. Jeanne had a group of ladies learn dances, dress up, and hit the restaurants in Oriental in October….the “Silverbrook Witches” were formed and raised the funds needed by OWC.

Since then, the Witches have raised funds for Pamlico County EMS, Jo-Jo Workin', Hope Clinic, Pamlico County Friends of the Library, and other worthy causes around the county.
